  On 15th May, 2003 - my baby bear left us to be with her mother Nyssa and all her relatives who have already crossed over the rainbow bridge.  A very sad day for me as she was so much a part of my life.  She will always be in my heart and never far from me.  

Khoia was my gift from Nyssa, her nickname was "baby bear". She was a sweet, gentle and soft lady, who would do anything for me. Khoia warmed my bed up wonderfully on those cold winter nights -she was my mobile hot water bottle. She had the skill of being able to get under the bed covers without disturbing them or me. 

Khoia gained her Endurance Test title in 1993 followed by her Companion Dog title in 1994. She was the first Rhodesian Ridgeback in South Australia to gain their CD since 1984.

Khoia's love was not for the show ring, she much preferred to let her children show whilst she soaked up the sun!!  Khoia had 2 lovely litters and enjoyed her life to the fullest.
